Yoga Therapy with Kim Burnham

A Breath-Centred Therapeutic Approach to Yoga

Yoga Therapy with Kim offers an individualised, breath-centred approach to support physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Grounded in the teachings of Yogācārya T. Krishnamacharya, TKV Desikachar and Dr Kausthub Desikachar, sessions are adapted to the individual — recognising that every person’s needs, experiences and health conditions are different.

Yoga Therapy is not about achieving complex postures. It is about using the tools of Yoga appropriately to support steadiness, function, resilience and quality of life.

  • Fatigue and low energy

  • Recovery following illness or injury

  • Breath awareness and regulation

A Personalised Process

Sessions are offered one-to-one and begin with discussion and observation to understand your current needs, goals and circumstances.

From this, an individual practice is developed that is:

  • Accessible

  • Sustainable

  • Appropriate for daily life

The aim is to provide practical tools that support wellbeing beyond the session itself.

Yoga Therapy is not intended to replace medical care, but may work alongside existing healthcare support.
